The detection systems of Bionics Instrument have been protecting people in the semiconductor industry for over 25 years. Our systems provide a total solution for gas monitoring inside and outside the production areas. The semiconductor and photovoltaic industries are dynamic industries where new processes are being introduced at vast speed. Implantation, diffusion, etch and deposition processes are continuously adapted to create even smaller electronic components.
Bionics instrument has a wide range of detection solutions for the chemical industry. Nearly all gas detectors can be supplied in a housing type, which complies with the NEC 505 or ATEX standard. There are solutions for many common hazardous gases like NH3, H2S, CO and HCL. Moreover Bionics Instrument also supplies solutions for gases which are difficult to detect. Gases like acrylonitrile, bromine and formaldehyde.
With our systems it is possible! The new SH-WAD and TX-WAD detectors have an integrated data recording function. The latest sensor readings are recorded and they can be viewed in a trend graph. Also the sensor serial numbers is stored in the detection unit. In case sensors are exchanged it is always possible to trace the sensor, which has been present in the detection unit during a certain period of time.
Acrylonitrile is one of the vapours which is difficult to detect at low levels. Many gas detectors for acrylonitrile show cross sensitivities to solvents like acetone.
Bionics Instrument has been promoting on-site live gas calibration for more than 25 years already. Still it is the only 100% guarantee for a good performance of any type of gas detector.
The TX-WAD is a diffusion type gas detector for indoor use with integrated alarm handling. Using one of the plug-in modules the unit can communicate by Profibus-DP or SIMS-NX bus line.
The new 8CWA and 16CWA alarm units are an ideal solution for small and medium sized gas detection systems. The IP65 rated units provide 24 and 16 free programmable relay contacts and they can be connected to a SIMS-NX bus line.
